A 12-A GENERAȚIE DE DIPLOMAȚI LICEENI LAUDER-REUT A ABSOLVIT CURSUL DE DIPLOMAȚIE ȘI AFACERI INTERNAȚIONALE ÎN CADRUL CEREMONIEI DE LA MINISTERUL AFACERILOR EXTERNE

Ceremonia de absolvire a cursurilor de Diplomatie si Relatii Internationale

La finalul celui de al 12-lea an de parteneriat educațional cu Ministerul Afacerilor Externe - Institutul Diplomatic Român, Fundaţia Ronald S. Lauder România - Complexul Educațional Lauder-Reut au desfășurat luni, 11 iunie 2018, ora 10:00, la Sala Gafencu a Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, ceremonia de absolvire a cursurilor de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale de către elevii liceului bilingv Lauder-Reut.

Evenimentul s-a desfășurat în prezența Ministrului Afacerilor Externe, domnul Teodor Meleșcanu, a Ministrului delegat pentru Afaceri Europene, domnul Victor Negrescu, a Președintelui Comunității Evreilor din București, ing. Paul Schwartz, a Președintelui Fundației Ronald S. Lauder România, doamna Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis, precum și cu participarea a numeroși alți oficiali și membri ai corpului diplomatic acreditat la Bucureşti, diplomaţi de carieră, membri ai Lauder-Reut Board of Trustees, elevi, părinți şi profesori.

Ceremonia de absolvire a cursurilor de Diplomatie si Relatii InternationaleMinistrul Afacerilor Externe, domnul Teodor Meleșcanu, s-a declarat onorat să le înmâneze personal diplomele de absolvire elevilor Lauder-Reut, viitorii ambasadori ai României în lume, în acest context aniversar prilejuit de dubla celebrare a anului 2018: Centenarul românesc și 70 de ani de la înființarea Statului Israel, încununați de relații diplomatice bilaterale neîntrerupte între cele două țări. Domnul Ministru și-a exprimat aprecierile pentru inițiativa Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut de a se adapta la cerințele societății actuale, inițiativă rezultată într-un parteneriat de 12 ani deja cu Ministerul Afacerilor Externe – Institutul Diplomatic Român, prin care elevii acestei instituții de învățământ beneficiază de studii de diplomație, întrucât investiția în educație este cea mai importantă pentru viitorul unei nații: … diplomația are nevoie de forțe proaspete, pregătite pentru confruntări complexe, potențialul și abilitățile pe care le aveți contribuie la promovarea României peste hotare, la întărirea valorilor democratice, a solidarității și toleranței.

Ministrul delegat pentru Afaceri Europene, domnul Victor Negrescu, i-a sfătuit pe elevi să fie diplomați în fiecare zi, prin ceea ce fac în calitate de indivizi și i-a invitat să se alăture acțiunilor de voluntariat și internship deschise în cadrul ministerului pe care îl conduce, pentru a contribui la proiectul de preluare de către România a președinției Consiliului Uniunii Europene în 2019, prin care vom demonstra, ca țară, că am înțeles ce trebuie să facem la nivel european și îi vom coaliza pe ceilalți membri europeni pentru atingerea unui punct de vedere comun.

Întrucât agenda diplomatică nu i-a permis să participe anul acesta, ambasadorul Statului Israel, doamna Tamar Samash a transmis un mesaj de felicitare elevilor și conducerii Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut: Trebuie să vă amintiți că diplomația este arma păcii, o armă a inteligenței și un joc fair-play, care implică dezvoltarea de abilități speciale pentru a menține echilibrul fragil al coexistenței umane, într-o lume care este din ce în ce mai expusă tulburărilor interculturale și coliziunilor. Deci, chiar și astăzi, nu mai puțin decât în trecut, nu există niciun substitut al diplomației profesionale.

De asemenea, elevii și invitații au primit un cuvânt de suflet transmis de domnul Paul Schwartz, Președintele Comunității Evreilor din București, care i-a îndemnat să studieze și să muncească, cât mai mult, întrucât se deschid oportunități extraordinare în această conjunctură internațională actuală, pe care cu toții o dorim pașnică.

Președintele Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut, doamna Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis, a adus mulțumiri și a transmis recunoștință profundă tuturor celor care cooperează an de an la desfășurarea cursului de diplomație – parteneri, profesori, elevi, apreciind implicarea și deschiderea autorităților în pregătirea elevilor pentru viitor. Elevii Lauder-Reut au avut un an diplomatic plin de activități teoretice și practice, precum vizita la Parlamentul European de la Bruxelles, internship la ambasade, Ministerul Afacerilor Externe și Institutul Diplomatic Român în cadrul Conferinței Lauder de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale pentru învățământul liceal – „2Day Ambassador” (20-22 martie 2018), conferințele Model United Nations desfășurate în România și străinătate la Herzliyah, Maastricht, precum și cea de a 6-a ediție a Conferinței LauderMUN (8 – 11 iunie 2018), care își încheie azi lucrările și pentru care s-a predat ștafeta între generații în cadrul ceremoniei de azi, de la Sala Gafencu.

Elevii au primit certificatele de absolvire din mâna domnului ministru Teodor Meleșcanu, fiind felicitați și încurajați de toți invitații, prezentând, la rândul lor, discursurile de mulțumire și apreciere.
