A 11-a generație de diplomați liceeni Lauder-Reut a absolvit cursul de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale în cadrul ceremoniei de la Ministerul Afacerilor Externe

Absolvirea cursului de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale

La finalul celui de al 11-lea an de parteneriat educațional cu Ministerul Afacerilor Externe - Institutul Diplomatic Român, Fundaţia Ronald S. Lauder România - Complexul Educațional Lauder-Reut au desfășurat marți, 13 iunie 2017, ora 11:00, la Sala Gafencu a Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, ceremonia de absolvire a cursurilor de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale de către elevii liceului bilingv Lauder-Reut.

Evenimentul a avut loc și s-a desfășurat în prezența Ministrului delegat pentru Afaceri Europene, doamna Ana Birchall, a secretarului de stat pentru pregătirea Președinției României la Consiliul U.E., domnul Ștefan Irimia Popescu, a Ambasadorului Extraordinar și Plenipotențiar al Statului Israel, Excelența Sa doamna Tamar Samash, a Președintelui Comunității Evreilor din București, ing. Paul Schwartz, a Președintelui Fundației Ronald S. Lauder România, doamna Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis, precum și cu participarea a numeroși alți oficiali și membri ai corpului diplomatic acreditat la Bucureşti, diplomaţi de carieră, elevi şi profesori.

Ministrului delegat pentru Afaceri Europene, doamna Ana Birchall, s-a declarat onorată să îi reîntâlnească pe elevii Lauder-Reut în casa Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, după participarea la Conferința 2Day Ambassador desfășurată la finalul lunii martie la Palatul Parlamentului, apreciind faptul că Ministerul Afacerilor Externe este partener de tradiție al proiectelor de diplomație desfășurate de școala Lauder-Reut. Doamna ministru s-a declarat impresionată de modul de organizare, de discursurile și de măiestria elevilor în arta diplomației, ca marcă a Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut și dovadă a capacității sale ca școală de elită de a inova și a se adapta la mersul vieții și al lumii, pentru a pregăti și motiva tinerii pentru viitorul lor. Doamna ministru Ana Birchall i-a sfătuit pe elevi să devină diplomați, să se alăture unei lumi fascinante, al cărei scop este asigurarea păcii, dar în care fiecare gest contează și le-a urat să guste cât mai multe victorii obținute cu tenacitate și seriozitate. Totodată, doamna ministru i-a invitat pe elevi să se alăture demersului de preluare a președinției Consiliului UE 2019, în cadrul proiectului Uniunea Europeană a Copiilor, solicitându-le să îi aducă la cunoștință ideile și sugestiile lor în această direcție, inclusiv pe pagina dânsei de Facebook.

Absolvirea cursului de Diplomație și Afaceri InternaționaleAmbasadorul Statului Israel, doamna Tamar Samash i-a felicitat pe elevi și le-a vorbit despre despre importanța diplomației ca modalitate de rezolvare pașnică a conflictelor, subliniind faptul că un diplomat bun este acela care își înțelege țara pe toate planurile, dar este în același timp un om pentru care grija față de umanitate este crucială. Împărtășind din experiența personală, Excelența Sa a subliniat importanța studiilor diplomatice dublate de curiozitate, idealism, loialitate față de țară – ingrediente care, spre deosebire de istoria, geografia, economia unui stat, nu se învață.

Președintele Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut, doamna Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis, a adus mulțumiri și a transmis recunoștință profundă tuturor celor care cooperează an de an la desfășurarea cursului de diplomație – parteneri, profesori, elevi, apreciind implicarea și deschiderea autorităților în pregătirea elevilor pentru viitor. Elevii Lauder-Reut au avut un an diplomatic plin de activități teoretice și practice, precum vizita la Parlamentul European de la Strasbourg, internship la ambasade, Ministerul Afacerilor Externe și Institutul Diplomatic Român în cadrul Conferinței Lauder de Diplomație și Afaceri Internaționale pentru învățământul liceal – „2Day Ambassador” (28-30 martie 2017), conferințele Model United Nations desfășurate în România și străinătate la Bratislava, Herzliyah, Varșovia, precum și cea de a 5-a ediție a Conferinței LauderMUN (9 – 12 iunie 2017).

Domnul Ștefan Irimia Popescu, secretar de stat pentru pregătirea Președinției României la Consiliul U.E., i-a încurajat pe elevi să fie diplomați în tot ceea ce fac și la locul în care se găsesc și să învețe siguranța de sine, salutând ideea cursului de diplomație drept o inițiativă demnă de multiplicat. În încheiere, elevii și invitații au primit un cuvânt de suflet transmis de domnul Paul Schwartz, Președintele Comunității Evreilor din București, care i-a îndemnat pe elevi la implicare, întrucât acțiunile constructive, iar nu indiferența, duc societatea înainte.

Ceremonia a fost condusă cu mare căldură de către doamna Mirela Grecu, Director al Direcţiei Diplomaţie Publică, Culturală şi Ştiinţifică din cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, cu bucuria de a fi gazdă și organizator de proiect și de a discuta cu elevii, cărora le-a dat cuvântul pentru a-și prezenta, la rândul lor, discursurile de mulțumire și apreciere.

O adevărată și emoționantă probă de protocol diplomatic l-a reprezentat momentul înmânării certificatelor de absolvire, pe care elevii le-au primit din mâna doamnei ministru Ana Birchall, cu susținerea entuziastă a Excelenței Sale, Ambasadorul Israelului, doamna Tamar Samash, și a doamnei Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis.
